Problem: Bathroom in an important Feng Shui area (wealth, fame, marriage, etc.)

Feng Shui bathroom
Feng Shui when literally translated from Chinese to English means wind and water. Referred in Feng Shui practice as an element, ‘water’ comprises around 2/3 part of the earth. It also comprises 2/3 part of our body. So there is no doubt about the fact that it has a great influence on our lives. At anytime, there are millions of particles and energy waves passing through our bodies without us noticing them. Water and wind have tremendous energy and the traditional wisdom of Feng Shui tells us how to use this energy to enhance our immediate surroundings (our home, office and other living spaces) for improved efficiency, optimal health, better relationships, increased prosperity and overall well-being.

Feng Shui has tried, true, and time tested wealth strategies that integrate theories based on Feng Shui Elements. Feng Shui colors and tools such as the Feng Shui Baguato provide followers the secret keys to lasting prosperity. If you did a Feng Shui Study, you would be fascinated by the relationship Feng Shui establishes between the bathroom and wealth. Read on and you will not only help you discover new ways to improve prosperity but will also provide to deepen your understanding of this popular practice which has strong spiritual and scientific basis

The article ‘Feng Shui bathroom wealth’ will not only help you discover new ways to improve prosperity but will also provide to deepen your understanding of this popular practice which has strong spiritual and scientific basis.

Even if you’re a Feng Shui beginner, you’re probably familiar with Feng Shui bagua (Feng Shui map of a space), and know that family area is a good place for the living room, or that a Feng Shui office is best placed in the knowledge, wealth, or career sectors. You may also know that Feng Shui bed room is best placed in the marriage corner of the Feng Shui house.
But do you know where the Feng Shui bathroom should be located if you’re seeking wealth? Probably not but that’s o.k. This article on Feng Shui bathroom wealth was written specifically to highlight the importance of a ‘Feng Shui bathroom’ — how it can increase or decrease wealth in your home.

As most of the Feng Shui practices have strong scientific basis, there are two important rules of thumb that you need to remember when deciding the location of a bathroom. First you need to know that , the bathroom and toilet are primarily governed by and driven by the element Water. In Feng Shui, Water is associated with wealth, prosperity, career and good cash flow. Secondly, you should keep in mind that bathrooms are associated with elimination and waste. With these two considerations in mind, it is easier to understand the main rules that apply to the layout and location of this space.

Without a clearly marked out space in Feng Shui bagua, the bathroom is a little out of place anywhere, but thanks to the time tested Feng Shui wisdom, you can easily identify problems with your bathroom (cash flow blockages, drained finances, etc.) that are detrimental to your wealth (it can block your cash flow, drain your finances, and add to your financial stress). Although some of locations are more troublesome than others, one of the best Feng Shui tips to keep in mind here is that a defective bathroom plumbing has a draining effect wherever it is located.

If you do find yourself with plumbing problems and can’t fix them yourself, contact a company like this emergency plumber in Toronto. Emergency plumbing is available 24/7 and will fix your problem fast, letting you get back to focusing on your Feng Shui bathroom.

According to traditional Feng Shui some bathroom locations which can have negative effect on your wealth. These locations include:

Bathrooms next to or above the front door.
Bathrooms on the second floor directly above the kitchen or front door
Bathrooms in the center of the office
Bathrooms under the stairs

It may seem restrictive but the reasons are sound when you reason using Feng Shui principles. For instance A bathroom in the front hall, close to the door, or a bathroom vanity at the end of straight hall way can drain Chi away before it has a chance to circulate through the rest of the house.

Similarly, the water energy in a bathroom above the kitchen extinguishes the hearth's fire energy and floods the entire kitchen with negative energy. This is potentially damaging to both health and prosperity.

As for a bathroom in the center of the home, that’s the worst location. According to Feng Shui, a centrally located bathroom destabilizes the energy of the entire home.

If you notice that the bathroom in your home lies in a problem area; you can use the following Feng Shui bathroom remedies to improve your wealth:

Problem: Bathroom in an important Feng Shui area (wealth, fame, marriage, etc.)

Feng Shui bathroom tip for wealth: A full-length mirror on the outside of the bathroom door. Consider keeping a bowl of pebbles on the shelf above the toilet or on the cistern itself. A black or red coloured rug at the base of the pedestal could also be used as a protective device.

Explanation: A mirror on the bath room door helps to deflect the Chi so it won't be drained away. Keeping sink and shower drains closed when not in use, and the toilet lid down when not in use would also prevent the Chi flowing down the drain. The concentrated form of Earth energy will help to control water and will counteract financial opportunities being flushed away.

Problem: Bathroom in the center of the home

Feng Shui bathroom tip for wealth: Paint the walls red, and place a stone, large crystal, or other earth-type object (such as a heavy ceramic bowl, vase, or statuette) in each corner. A full-length mirror on both the entrance door can also help. Feng Shui elements and Feng Shui colors help stabilize the energy by balancing the negative Chi with positive Chi.

Problem: Bathroom over the front door or over the kitchen

Feng Shui bathroom tip for wealth: First hang a faceted crystal in the center of the room; place a 3" round mirror on the ceiling directly above the toilet to visually reverse the downward flow of water (use double-sided tape to hold the mirror in place). Next place earth-type objects in the corners of the room to stabilize the energy. Lastly add an image such as a bird or tree to the downstairs area below the bathroom to help lift the energy there.

The Best Feng Shui Bathrooms

Bathrooms are places for daily cleansing, so a clean, sanitary bathroom strengthens and supports a positive Chi. A dirty bathroom, on the other hand, emphasizes the negative qualities of this room. If your bathroom occupies any of the more challenging locations described above, it is essential to keep it sparkling clean, tidy, and well lit.

For both the bathroom itself and the toilet, always make sure that the plumbing fixtures are spotlessly clean and work. Dripping taps encourage you to waste money, plus noisy plumbing and cisterns are disturbing on a subliminal level. Keep the area light, airy and well lit. Ideal Feng Shui colors for the bathroom or the toilet include light grey, cream and pale blues.

Since it is where you begin and end the active part of each day, you should try to make it more attractive and inviting using the Feng Shui design and Feng Shui Bagua, which treat bathroom as a separate space. If you have a big bathroom Feng Shui bagua can help you to choose different Feng Shui Elements and Feng Shui Colors. In general a Feng Shui bathroom has more faucets, sprayers, water jets and other things that emit water in other directions than the downward direction; it helps with flow and bringing wealth in your house. Also consider strategically placing mirrors so that these faucets are reflected. Be careful not to situate mirrors in places where the toilet is reflected. but make sure you do not have a mirror in your bathroom that is reflecting the toilet.

The same principle is applicable for having water fountains in front of the house, the flow of water in fountains represent healthy Chi. Remember that two fountains are not considered auspicious as it is considered akin to the tears in the eyes in the traditional Feng Shui.

Betrayal, jealousy, deceit and Feng-shui.

-- 10 Ways to Protect Yourself and Your Name

It's frustrating when you become ill and annoying when finances are tight, but few things compare to the feeling of betrayal by a friend.

When a friend lets you down, the feeling of shock and disappointment can be hard to bounce back from. Even the green-eyed monster of jealousy can make you feel vulnerable and disillusioned.

In many countries the envy and jealousy of another is called the "evil eye." This type of attention is believed to draw energy from you and to encircle you with negative energy that can cause you loss.

A good example is when someone secretly covets a pretty necklace that you are wearing, you might find the necklace breaks or that you lose it.

You could also be the subject of gossip and politicking at work or in social circles. In 2011, the gossip star, the Jade 3, is in the north sector of career and this could put extra emphasis on backstabbing to get ahead at work. It could even cause lawsuits.

Protecting yourself at work will be critical in this year.

Next year, in 2012, women will be both the source and the victim of the problems caused by the Jade 3. The 3 Killings can also cause legal problems, backstabbing and gossip. That's why it's so critical to face it each year because it is a "sneaky" type of affliction associated with deceit and treachery.

Below are some feng shui remedies to help you in the face of betrayal and gossip.

1. Stimulate support luck. Offset negative tendencies of others by enhancing the earth element. Be sure to add stones and earth elements in the southwest. This will stimulate good relationships and support from others.

2. Dissolve gossip with crystal balls. To stop sharp words and create smooth relationships, add crystal balls to the southwest corner to draw help from others to you and to curtail bad mouthing and gossip. These balls can stop idle gossip and harmful comments.

3. Cut through envy and backbiting. Negative or excess wood energy can cause envy and the frivolous hearsay that can be so damaging. To cut this harmful chit-chat, display a coin sword. This is especially helpful for the black 2 star that falls in the south sector of social status in 2011.

4. Burn up excess wood talking. Sometimes wood energy goes well past idle gossip and can become truly damaging. This is the case in 2011 where the 3 Jade star falls in the watery sector of the north where the wood can grow and grow. The best way to handle the 3 star is to exhaust it by burning it up. A candle or bright light can stop this energy that can lead to legal tangles. If you have a front door that faces where the 3 Jade falls, it also helps to carry a fire wheel amulet or hang a fire wheel for protection.

5. Enlist a protector. If you were ever bullied as a child and a stronger, bigger child came to your aid, you'll understand the energy I'm talking about here. Having a strong man whose fierceness gives you a measure of protection is the perfect protection against the 3 Killings, an energy that likes to sneak up on you and prey on your weakness.
Kwan Kong is a fierce general whose countenance is believed to ward off treachery and bad intentions merely by his look alone. In 2010, I posted him at my front door to ward off the negative energy of the 5 Yellow and to cut through the negative earth energy with his golden sword that he is always depicted carrying. He symbolizes strength, bravery and courage and represents powerful patriarch energy and maintaining harmony amongst all the members of a household.

6. Get better friends. If you find that your friends are really "frenemies" (enemies that act like friends) then you'll want to seek out those who support you. A good start is with your Chinese zodiac sign. You'll want to choose friends whose horoscope signs are compatible with yours. Another is to carry an amulet of your horoscope allies.

Check the table below for the zodiac signs that support and encourage you.

Ladies Handbags and Feng-shui tips

What's In Your Purse?
10 Feng Shui Wealth-Producing Tips for Handbags

It's an indispensable tool, a valuable fashion asset and a source of all manner of important things like breath mints, a safety pin to fix a broken zipper, or keys to entertain a toddler. A woman's purse is a collector of things - and sometimes those things are downright unhealthful.
According to recent studies, a woman's purse ranks as one of the top ten germiest items we come in contact with on a regular basis. Ironically, a woman's handbag is also the place where she carries her wealth and financial power.

Is your purse a symbol of wealth or is it a danger to your health? Maybe it's a little of both.

Interestingly, for women, a purse is often a symbol of the self. An attractive, organized purse makes us feel better and more in control of our lives. When our purses are a mess and we can't find anything, we feel lost and our bank accounts often reflect that scattered state.

Simply put, a purse with good feng shui is a purse that is organized, a handy resource, and supports its principal purpose: holding your money and financial wherewithal.

Read these tips to get your purse in tip top feng shui shape.

1. Elevate your purse.
You'd never see a man put his wallet on the floor, yet women put their purses on the floor all the time - in the restroom, at restaurants, at work. Always keep your purse elevated and off the floor. And never, ever, put it on the floor of the restroom. Hang it on a door hinge or the corner of the door. A great idea is to buy a purse hanger for those times when you want to put your purse down, but not on a floor.

2. Keep it clean. Resist the temptation to throw gum or food wrappers, bits of paper or used tissues into your purse. What does it say when you carry trash in the same place as your money? Garbage should go in a trashcan and never into a purse.

3. Mind the change. Avoid throwing change into your purse where it will fall to the bottom of the bag. This is disrespectful to money. If it's too inconvenient to put change into a zippered coin compartment in your wallet, buy an old fashioned coinpurse that makes collecting change easy - and getting it out for tolls or parking meters -- convenient too.

4. Be prepared. Carry a small safety pin, a tiny container of dental floss, a small notepad with pen, a small pocketknife, highlighter pen and bottle of eye drops. Little items that make your purse a point of refuge in the world make you love your purse even more. Better still, when someone has a broken zipper they will forever remember you and your purse of wonders! Lastly, carry a $100 bill, but don't spend it. Having a purse (and some cash) at the ready helps you be prepared for financial surprises.

5. Activate your purse. If you see pretty hanging Chinese ornaments or tassels put some of these on your purse. These hangers are great for pumping up the feng shui volume of your purse and activating it for wealth. Choose hangers that appeal to you and that look especially pretty and coordinated. Yes, pretty is good feng shui!

6. Buy thoughtfully. Like a bra, never buy a purse just for the fashion name or for how it looks. Make sure the purse hangs on your shoulder comfortably, and like a good bra, stays there. Even better, find a purse with enough compartments to hold small items like pens, your cell phone, and other items you need to get to quickly. Make sure you can easily close your purse for security sake, that you can find what you need and that the purse is working for you, not the other way around.
7. Use a key keeper. These small hooks fit onto your purse and keep you from fishing around for your keys, which can endanger you if you're trying to find them at night in an empty parking lot. By hanging on the edge of your purse, you can access your keys faster and more easily. This says you can find you way financially too.

8. Avoid wallet clutter. Get a wallet that helps you stay organized with your money. Your money should be easily arranged, not rammed into a wad, and your credit cards should be easily accessed. Also, have only as many credit cards as you absolutely need. Too many credit cards becomes a financial trap, a credit score nightmare, and, well, clutter. When the clerks ask if you want one of the store-name-credit cards, tell them "No thanks; I'm cutting down on wallet clutter." Who can argue with that?

9. Buy a purse in your personal wealth color. Selecting a purse in a color that resonates with your personal wealth energy will help stimulate your wealth and money-making opportunities. If you don't want to buy a purse in your personal wealth colors, other good options include red, metallic, white, black, and blue. Greens are also fine and a nice choice in 2010. The best choice for the year? Blue.

10. Pursue love. The No. 1 feng shui rule for your purse? Don't buy it unless you absolutely love it - and then treat it that way. Keep it clean, organized, and off the floor. Your money mojo will be activated and you'll have more to spend and save. Show some purse love. Thanks to 'XING FU'

Grand Duke Jupiter

Tai Sui or Grand Duke Jupiter

Tai Sui or Tai Shui, is a very important aspect of Chinese Astrology. It is mostly known as the Grand Duke of Jupiter. It is an intangible energy body of War-like nature, that should not be disturbed. The Tai Sui or sometimes called “the Year Authority”, is a commanding post that has total control over that particular year. The Chinese Lunar Year Cycle has 60 years and so there are 60 Tai Sui, with every year having a different Tai Sui.

The position of Tai Sui corresponds to the year Earth branch (the animal sign of the year) of any given year. In the compass it occupies 15 degrees. The position of Tai Sui changes in the first day of the first month of the Chinese solar calendar, generally this day falls on 4th of February in the Gregorian Calendar.

These are the exact degrees of Tai Sui in the next 3 years:

4th Feb 2011 – 3rd Feb 2012 82.5-97.5 degrees E2 – Rabbit (Mao)

4th Feb 2012 – 3rd Feb 2013 112.5-127.5 degrees SE1 – Dragon (Chen)

4th Feb 2013 – 3rd Feb 2014 142.5-157.5 degrees SE3 – Snake (Si)

In 2011, Tai Sui is situated at the East. DO NOT disturb the ground of this area at all costs. If you live in an East facing property or your front door is facing East, you must be extra careful. Do not allow the front door to slam and do not renovate or dig in this part of the property for the entire year. Tai Sui is one of the strongest killing energies of the year. A very important rule of Tai Sui-NEVER sit facing the Tai Sui direction. Instead, sit with your back towards the East in 2011. Having Tai Sui behind you, especially during any business negotiation is as if you are making the other party face the Tai Sui and that will actually help you.

As a cure, place a pair of Pi Yao in East sector of the house to eliminate some of Tai Sui negative effects. Also, if you can find actual an picture of Tai Sui, hang it on the wall in the East sector, facing East as well. A Pi Yao can be placed at any location depending on your need. Put a Pi Yao at your living room if you have just moved into new house. If you have just finished renovating your house, the more reason why should have a Pi Yao in your living room. It will save you from any bad obstacle due to the recent renovation that might have created. A Pi Yao in your living room also ensures good health for you and your family members. If you drive long distance, ensure that you put a Pi Yao in your car. The Pi Yao will protect you from any unwanted incidents.

Facing a Pi Yao directly on the front door will bring you good fortune. A Pi Yao has a very big stomach and it is said that the Pi Yao will suck all the good fortune and wealth luck into his stomach. Since the Pi Yao is located in your house, the good fortune and wealth luck will stay in your house.

For Business owners, put a Pi Yao at your reception area or any place in your office that you conduct negotiation with your customer or supplies. This will bring you good luck. You might also want to place it on your working table facing northwest to bring authority for managers.

Do not install any Indoor moving water objects like Aquariums or Water Fountains in East, this year.

Do not dig, construct, renovate, redecorate, repair or refurbish in East this year. Keep the noise levels in this sector to the barest minimum.

Do not excavate or top-up any Water bodies in the East.

Do not shift or move to the East in physical and geographical sense as well.

Do not chop trees, if they are in the East side of your property. Also, if possible, avoid attending cremation rituals, burial ceremonies or funerals, if your Main Door faces East. Thankful to... 'gxingfu'

(Remedy- For those born under the sign of the Rabbit and Rooster, and those who have main entrances facing the East direction. Use above 'pi Yao' (सिंगल वन फोटो) aside the main door to get rid of Tai Sui in 2011.)
